The Tribal Liaison for the Northern Arapaho Tribe in the Office of Wyoming Governor Mark Gordon, Cy Lee, has joined e-Roll Corporation as its newest Executive Board Member.
e-Roll is a Wyoming Corporation which is developing the largest-ever Power Plant in the state, utilizing a massive array of Solar Panels, storage batteries and an advanced Power Management System. It is expected that the new Wind River Solar Power Plant will power more than 150,000 new homes and businesses in the region. e-Roll Corporation is recognized as one of the leading Electric Transportation and Solar Power Plant Developers in the USA.
Cy Lee is a Wyoming native, born and raised on the Wind River Indian Reservation. Cy Lee stated, “As a member of the Northern Arapaho Tribe, the energy industry is a large portion of the economics that have contributed to the establishment and growth of the tribal community, “Lee continued, “An equitable balance of new energy development, while remaining a responsible steward of the environment is extremely important.”
“I am fully committed to helping develop a strategy to pursue a level of energy independence in a potentially carbon neutral form. I believe the Tribes have a vested interest in creating meaningful job opportunities in the energy sector, while demonstrating traditional environmental stewardship as only the tribal community can. The creation of solar energy as an ongoing energy source for the Wind River Reservation would be the beginning of a new era”.
Cy Lee has a career spanning more than 15 years in tribal government. His career includes working in multiple agencies and departments, and for 5 years as the Tribal Liaison for the Office of Governor Mark Gordon of Wyoming. He is active in the tribal community and has served on several boards.
